Customization of All Workshops
Every workshop involves degrees of customization to take into account participant needs and client objectives.
In-House Workshops
Typically our consultants will discuss your objectives. This may involve some kind of needs analysis. Activities can also be adjusted, pertinent examples can be used for practice drills, and certain aspects of the program may be emphasized as is appropriate to the assessed needs. The customization also varies according to the subject area, as follows.
Business Writing. We ask to see writing samples from each participant. This will guide our faculty on the challenges faced by your organization. In addition, the samples are typically reviewed and evaluated by our experts, as part of the workshop process.
Before the writing workshop, we will ask participants to come prepared to write something during the session. We will then take them through the writing process: thinking, writing and editing—so they can work on their own writing/content.
Presentation Skills. We ask participants to come prepared with a presentation they have already designed, or a presentation that needs to be prepared. Our faculty will then focus first on organzing the presentation, and then provide feedback on participant performing skills.
Think on Your Feet®. We often ask participants to come to the session prepared with a list of questions they hate being asked! This can then be used an integral part of their learning the Think On Your Feet® process.
